From Russia with Love - Moscow 1908
When I visited
Moscow the last time I experienced a town with foreign stores and designer boutiques dominating the
Gum and other famous shopping malls near the
Red Square and
Tverskaya Street and an unbelievable amount of traffic even on Sunday when people returned from making their
dachas winter proof.
The more I got surprised when I discovered this fantastic video featuring Moscow in the year of 1908: An amazingly quiet winter idyll besides the Moskva River.
Since electronic publishing has become more and more individual sharing photos, amateur-made videos and personal mash-ups of film screenings have become an excellent resource to reflect the diversity of culture.
