Torino 2006 - Olympic Winter Games over the Web
The Internet has become an application platform. Published applications, which let users share information between different hosted services offer business opportunities for small businesses as well as for corporate businesses, strategic partnerships, subscriptions for certain customer segments and advertising applied to both the consumer and the business market serve as a revenue model.

One of the biggest events of the year featuring the 2006 Winter Olympics can be monitored on Torino 2006, the official website, more enhanced, detailed information is available on videos, podcasts, blogs, animations and satellite images over the Web.

I'm exited what they will track of the games and athletes bringing sports audiences ever closer to the Olympic Games.

'People's behavior in researching buying related information and decision making has changed during the last months. Their favorite methods include researching buying related price comparison sites, RSS-feeds, review sites, blogs and travel sites, while consumer generated content and peer-reviews have a huge impact on their decision making.'
