  Portal Strategy - Approach to Boost Advertising Revenues
Today's consumers require a timely site with implicit and explicit personalized programming services as well as Internet-only exclusives such as live shows and audio-visual experiences like music videos, movie clips and trailers, full-length video features, news, journals, blogging and live feeds from various sources.

Like Yahoo.com and Microsoft's MSN, AOL will boost its advertising revenues launching a new and free Web portal by the end of July. The subscription-based all-you-can-eat model remains involving all software, connectivity, updates and support while an advertising-based model makes the content available to a broader audience for free and makes it easier to access further AOL pages like:
A beta version of the new AOL.com portal in progress will be available under http://beta.aol.com from today on.
